Petra Schwarzer Pepa
In my work, I focus on the connection of realism and imagination. I work with themes of identity, silence, memory and the relationship between humans, technology and nature. In paintings that often combine elements of human emotionality with robotic shapes and motifs, I create parallel worlds – poetic, disturbing and playful. I am interested in how painting can be a medium of introspection, how it can reflect our time and inner landscape.
I use both classical painting techniques and digital means. I create free works and commissioned works – for exhibitions, collectors, public and private spaces.
My ambition is to create visual stories that not only appeal to the viewer aesthetically, but also provoke deeper questions and inner resonance.
